Composite long rod insulator combines the highest levels of electrical insulation and mechanical tensile strength in a compact, lightweight one-piece housing design with two different sealing options depending on the customer requirements. All ECI long rod insulators are designed and tested in compliance with the latest versions of IEC 61109, ANSI 29.11, ANSI 29.12
Applicable Standard: IEC, ANSI, CAN, BS, AS, IS or Customer requirement. Certified with ISO 9001-2015, ECI has the most professional R&D team, fully equipped with testing facilities, most advanced automatic silicone injection machines, sound detecting and PLC controlled crimping machines, advanced technical supports and professional management system from Europe.
Our products advantages
1. End fittings are made of forged single fittings, which has stable mechanical properties, small force value dispersion, and the tensile failure value can far exceed the rated values.
2. The connection between fittings and silicone housing adopts advanced O-ring design, saving the cost of secondary sealant application.
3. The silicone rubber material has passed the 4.5G test of tracking and erosion test, which has superior anti-aging and long product life.
4.The bonding adopts a stable sandblasting process and an inspection every two hours to ensure that the bonding of the product is intact.
5.Using acid-resistant and high-temperature resistant glass fiber rods, the glass transition temperature is 165 degrees and the thermal bending resistance is high, without deformation or cracking.

Structure
Consist of silicone rubber housing, fiberglass rod and end-fittings. For system voltage 132kV and above, recommend corona rings for one or both ends. Also it’s available if some applications required corona rings for lower system voltage.
